I ran on the treadmill for the first time today….or maybe the first time since I’ve started training. I’m sure somewhere in my past I’ve tried running on one before. Can’t say I like it.
I’m fighting a cold and I didn’t get up early to do a run before work. And I wasn’t real keen on running when it was 95 degrees and humid to run after. So I went to my parent’s house to use their treadmill.
It sucked. I didn’t last very long before I decided going a steady pace was going to make me crazy!
I ended up alternating sprints and walking. In the end it was a good workout and not too bad. I couldn’t get their tv to work, but I cranked my Pandora and got it done.
Do you ever run on the treadmill? How do you make it more enjoyable?
