What’s in store for 2015?

So far in 2015 we’ve done:

6 mile trail run

Orienteering Challenge

6 miles trail run

2 hour adventure race

10 mile trail run.

What’s next?

March 20th:  I’m super pumped that we just signed up to do Break Up Adventure’s 6 hour Short Course at Milford Lake, KS!

April 11 – Double Half Mary – Sheri

May 3rd – Lincoln Half

May 24th – possibly doing a Urban Adventure…this is depending on travel plans for both Sheri and I.

June 6th – Possibly doing Women’s tri in Omaha

June 13th – Run, Row, Rock and Roll Adventure Race

June 20th – Dizzy Goat - Sheri is doing 12 hours!  I am doing 3.

July 11th – Tri it in the Dirt – trail triathlon

July 25th – night time trail run

July 26th – Omaha Olympic tri

Aug 1 – State Game Adventure Race

Sept 26th – BIG Triathlon

Oct 3rd – M2M Relay

October 17th – Warrior Challenge Adventure Race

There’s still some events we are on the fence about and anything can change with kids and/or work travel schedules, but this is the tentative plan.  I’d also like to do a Spartan Race and maybe another mud run, but so far they haven’t announced anything locally.

It’s hard for me to believe that 2 years ago I was just starting to think about attempting to run a half marathon with Team in Training and couldn’t even run a mile.  And I didn’t even know Sheri.    Now look at my schedule!  And I feel like I’ve known Sheri forever and can’t imagine not knowing her!  What a blessing!

    I can’t believe what a bad friend I’ve been not keeping up on your blog! I am now caught up and want to say it has been an awesome ride! The last two years have been so much fun and I hope we’re still doing this in our 80s! You’re the best. Thanks for being my friend and training partner!
