Oregano! - Adventure Wenches

The next oil I want to look into is Oregano.  I am pretty much going through what’s in the Physician’s Kit from DoTerra and digging a little into each oil’s background and it’s uses from a variety of sources.

It has been or is being researched for:

wound healing

repelling insects

fungal infections

Killing MRSA

high in antioxidants

It is very strong so you must be cautious.  Not recommended for some such as pregnant women and children.  It should be diluted with a carrier oil such as coconut oil.  It also belongs to the mint family for allergic reactions.

It’s a part of the popular DoTerra Flu Bomb:  2 parts Meleauca, 2 parts On Guard, and 2 Parts Oregano.  You can either put in a cap and take internally if you are comfortable with that, or mix with a carrier oil and rub on.

Top uses are anti-fungal, antibacterial, immune stimulant, helps get rid of warts and skin tags.

I have used the Flu Bomb and worked great.  I am currently trying Oregano for a skin tag and continue to update on how things work.
