I went out for a quick run this morning. Friday’s aren’t a regularly scheduled running day in prep for the longer day on Saturday. 6 miles with heat, hills, and humidity….can’t wait!! (that’s tomorrow, NOT my quick one for today!)
I took back my Brooks Ghosts because my toes were falling asleep. I walked out with a pair of the new Nike Pegasus. I am not really sure why, but I am not excited about this shoes. I don’t really want them to work out and I can’t really pinpoint why. It was a really short day today, but Bailey (my running partner, the dog) really wanted to go, and I wanted to give the shoes a little test drive before tomorrow’s longer run.
I think my toes are still going to go numb with these too. Might be a little early to tell, but I think I’m going to experiment with changing the lacing.
