Quick update – I got in to the Lincoln’s Half Marathon in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 4! Registration opened at midnight last night and was sold out in less than 12 hours.
Pretty excited! Now I have to figure out my training plan!
Today was also the start of my Whole 30. And my first day without Diet Mountain Dew in a long time. I’m more worried about that than anything else. I can do it though!
Breakfast: 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado. Green tea with with a little coconut oil and ghee.
Lunch – ended up being an apple and some nuts. Was at a friends house to cheer on the Huskers and my options were limited.
Dinner – South African Stew, roasted broccoli and brussel sprouts.
I also baked a sweet potato and made a frittata for tomorrow.
I’m pretty tired today, but I think that’s more from previous food choices and possibly fighting a cold since everyone around has one.
